Zest Living is a Home, Gifts and Lifestyle store located on Djab Wurrung land in Ararat, Victoria, with the majestic Grampians only a short drive away.
At Zest Living we truly celebrate the act of joyful, meaningful gift-giving and the curation of quality products which embody love and care. We focus on creating memorable experiences, fostering connections and ensuring our space is accessible and welcoming to all members of our community.
The faces greeting you in store or lovingly packing your orders are Sarah (owner), Hannah (sales), Kristy (sales and florist) with Linda occasionally popping in to help out.Â

Zest Living has been part of the Ararat community since 2010 when Chook opened as ‘Zest Living’. With her vision and taste Chook grew Zest Living to be a premier, integral and dependable element of retail in Ararat.
In early 2020 Marce took over from Chook carrying Zest Living through Covid times and out the other side still thriving. Marce’s determination and passion saw Zest Living continue it’s reputation, she also undertook the mammoth task of moving the store to our current location at 148 Barkly St.
Which brings us to now, when in October 2023 Sarah purchased Zest Living. Although not actively looking to take on another venture and having four young children, it was too much of an exciting and rare opportunity to miss. So with the support of her husband Jacob, Sarah took the leap and has not looked back!
Hannah came on board with Marce in April 2022 and is an integral part of the day to day running of our store.
Kristy joined the team in October 2024 and with her skill, creativity and floristry qualification we were able to add flowers in store.
Our customer experience is so important to us, we want your visit to Zest Living to be a warm highlight of your day. We have taken great delight in delivering this instore with our warm greetings, the candles we choose to light, the music we play, our merchandising and ensuring our store is accessible. With a particular focus on our complimentary gift wrapping, which brings us such joy.
We are looking forward to ensuring our online customers also have a wonderful customer experience with our beautiful and accessible website, attentive and caring customer service and complimentary gift wrapping.
